How do I send Just the Right Book as a gift?
Gifts are what we’re great at. Select “Gift Subscription” on the Subscribe Now page. We’ll ship the first book first approximately two weeks after your recipient redeems their Gift Subscription and completes their Reading Profile and then monthly after that.

What gift card options do you offer?
At checkout, you’ll be offered the opportunity to print your own gift card to give to the recipient. This will also be included in your order confirmation. Alternatively, you can choose to have us send a high-quality custom gift card directly to the recipient (via USPS).
These cards contain the recipients’ redemption code used to redeem their Gift Subscription so we can begin shipping. If you opt not to have us send a card, it’s up to you to share the code.

How will you know what to send?
When a recipient redeems their Gift Subscription, they’re prompted to share their reading preferences. We ask about their favorite genres and then we choose the perfect books to send!

Why haven't they received their gift?
If you’ve purchased a subscription that has never been fulfilled, the subscription might not have been redeemed, or your recipient’s Reading Profile is incomplete. They can redeem their gift subscription here, or log into their account to check their reading preferences.

Will I have to re-do my Reading Preference Form if I renew my subscription?
Yes! Because we want to ensure that you always receive just the right book, we ask readers to complete a Reading Preferences form with each subscription. Maybe you fell in love with a new-to-you genre? We want to know!

Why haven't I received my books?
Please check your account to confirm you’ve completed your Reading Preferences Form. Your first book will ship approximately two weeks after completing your profile, and then monthly after that. If you think something may have gone wrong, please reach out to support@justtherightbook.com.

I just purchased a subscription. What do I do next?
Check your e-mail! You’ll receive an order confirmation with a link to complete your Reading Preferences Form. Once you complete the form, we’ll select, wrap, and ship just the right book for you, approximately two weeks later.

When you completed your Reading Preferences Form, you enter into an ongoing conversation with our booksellers. It’s how we always choose Just the Right Book!

When will I be billed for my subscription?
If you are purchasing a gift subscription, you will pay in full during checkout. If you’re purchasing a subscription for yourself, you’ll be presented with the choice of installment payments or a full payment at checkout. If you choose installment payments, your credit card will be charged each time we ship a book.

I received a message saying that my payment failed. What can I do?
We recommend that you try a different credit card. If you pay for your subscription in installments, this message means that your credit card’s status may have changed. We may need you to update the information that we have on file. Please visit your account to update.

When will my first book ship?
First, make sure you’ve completed your Reading Preferences Form, found in your account. Your first book will ship approximately two weeks after completing your preferences, and then monthly after that.

If I change my mind, can I cancel my subscription?
Annual subscriptions can be canceled within the first month. A refund can be issued if no books have been shipped.

So how do exchanges work?
We want your feedback! Did we read your mind? Do you want to switch it up? If you’re unhappy with the book that we sent you, we’ll replace it at no extra cost. Please make your exchange request within four weeks of receiving the book.
